Today a guest speaker will be joining us! They will share a couple different stories with us and also the important elements of storytelling. Be respectful, and feel free to ask questions when he is finished telling his stories.
** Discussion: After the guest speaker leaves we will be getting into small groups and retelling the stories that we have become familiar with. Keep in mind all of the elements that we learned today such as: tone of voice, hand gestures, facial expressions, volume and sound effects. Get creative and have fun!
Homework: Continue to brainstorm about your newly created folktale. Fill out the provided outline for your story. This outline will be turned in tomorrow.
